There's an ethereal quality to this - an illusion of a bloom, although we know that it is also a real flower. It's like peering into a parallel world where we see only some things clearly, and everything else is indistinct. So the tips of the stamens leap out, in the mist of carmine petals. It's truly lovely. Brenda

Very beautiful color! I love how is seems the petals are so thin you can look through them. I also like the bit where another flower once was.
