I agree with endika; the shot is beautifully based on minimal distraction, so we're much more aware of the lights and lines.

This is a strong composition built with so few elements! The lights and the shadows are very well balanced. endika

Thanx for looking! That mailbox is only a couple weeks old- had a nice big dent in it before the box even went out w the trash! Note the dents in the guardrail- before that was installed, cars would regularly wind up in the trees. Sorry, no ball field, just parking lot and playground

I think what I like best about this shot is how it could be anybody's street in anybody's town. I like the ball park there at the bend in the street and I also like how the street has pushed its way nearly up to the trees and look at that skinny sidewalk! I can't help but wonder how many times that mailbox has been knocked off its post too. I guess when you stop and look, there's a lot to see in this little bit of town.
