To Plaza de Mulas and hike out

Unfortunately I caught a bad stomach bug and needed repeated exits from the tent in the cold night at 6000m. Armin is convinced it is an effect of altitude. He is also weak due to lack of hydration last evening and night. This morning we just pack and start descending without breakfast. We reach the Plaza de Mulas base camp (4400m) in about 2 hrs but the descent with heavy pack was exhausting and I'm tired. All afternoon we have siesta in the bunk beds

The next morning at Plaza de Mulas is cold as the sun comes very late due to the big shade of Aconcagua. We pack our gear for the mules and start the long hike out. In the end it's a 17mi hike and we reward ourselves with several beers in Puente del Inca while we wait for the mules to arrive with our gear. 		Leider erwischte mich eine Darmverstimmung und ich muss wiederholt das Zelt in der kalten Nacht auf 6000m verlassen. Armin ist überzeugt dass es ein Höheneffekt ist. Er ist auch schwach weil er letzte Nacht nicht gut hydriert hat. Am Morgen packen wir nur unsere Sachen und steigen sofort und ohne Frühstück ab. Wir erreichen das Plaza de Mulas Basislager (4400m) in ca. 2 Stunden, aber der Abstieg mit schwerem Gepäck war anstrengend und ich bin müde. Den ganzen Nachmittag haben wir Siesta in den Stockbetten.

Der nächste Morgen in Plaza de Mulas ist kalt. Die Sonne kommt sehr spät weil Aconcagua einen großen Schatten wirft. Wir packen unsere Ausrüstung für die Maultiere und starten die lange Wanderung zurueck. Am Ende wird es eine 28 km Wanderung und wir belohnen uns mit mehreren Bieren in Puente del Inca während wir auf die Maultiere mit unserer Ausrüstung warten.
