Macro

Macro pictures taken with the V1, FT1 adapter and the Nikon AF-S DX VR 85mm f3.5G ED micro lens, which is a pretty compact combination until Nikon releases a dedicated Nikon 1 micro lens, which will be even more compact.

The Nikon VR 85mm f3.5G micro lens gives a FXe FOV of a 230mm lens mounted on my V1, while my D300 with the Tamron SP AF 180mm f/3.5 Di Macro lens gives a FXe FOV of a 270mm lens, but while the D300 combination requires a flash and monopod at great magnifications, the V1 combination is easily handholdable even at great 1:1 magnifications.
