Barnyard Grass is an annual that grows the world over and is generally considered a weed but when I find large stands,at the right time for their passing, I search for Nelson's Sharp-tailed Sparrows. It doesn't produce many but I find Barnyard my best bet, along with the following grass, for this species in this area.
