This is about as straight as a Sharpie will holds its wings but the slight kink still gives it a broader, shorter looking wing and the smaller head will just barely extent in front of the wing line. As on most Sharp-shinned, the tail appears square and slightly shorter to the body in length. The white tail tip wears and becomes harder to see than it is on this fresh young bird. Beware of birds in molt with short outside tail feathers giving a rounder look. Again, watch a bird in flight until it goes out of sight, soak in the feel...........
