This pair of Red-necked Grebes stayed off the east side of Pace Point Dec. 31, 2005 and Jan. 1, 2006 among hundreds of Pied and Horned Grebes with a distant Western Grebe. Needless to say I looked for a Eared Grebe both days but I never found one all year long in 2005, maybe next year.
