Sandhill Cranes are over wintering more and more here in West TN, eastern AR and northern MS. First they were found in the Rice Fields and now are finding the corn stubble. These birds were at Big Sandy - TN NWR in Henry Co. TN on 12-24-05. We had our first Sandhill counted on the Reelfoot CBC this year, thanks to Nancy Moore and the birds are showing up at other locations. Now we just need a Whooper to find the bounty;o)
