Each year I get a couple of what I call "ghost" Pectoral Sandpipers. These birds are basically a cool gray with very wide white fringes to their feathers. There is usually no hint of the warmer brown seen on all the other Pecs. I would like to hear if others ever run across these pale Pecs?
I have photos of a few more of these birds taken over the years.
