Pretty poor conditions today, a heavy cloud cover and distance making for poor photos. At first, I saw a very small, dark backed gull and thought Laughing but then I saw head. Went from Laughing to another hybrid? But head pattern did not fit. Then to California but it was too dark and I then settled on 3rd cy. Lesser, legs were yellow, no red on bill could be seen in scope. Tail all white. One time, I thought I could see small white spot on one primary but did not see it again as it moved through the flock many times just completly hidden by the Ring-bills.
