There's the coat of many colors - and now the shelving of many colors. Framing in this area under the stairs for shelving, one might think that this was a little overkill. Made up of 2x4's / 2x6's / 2x8's - this will end up being one of the strongest areas of the barn. Actually, all of this wood was slated for the dumpster. A bunch of warped boards that I really didn't have any use for. But, when you only need a 27 inch chunk here and there, that's pretty easy to find somewhere along most any bad board. It will also be stout enough to support anything I decide to hang on the outsides.
