This area near and under the stairs has been a head scratcher. After removing some shelving and old haunted house related lumber, I was left with a mix of posts and supports - some that didn't really make sense. There are two posts with notches in them that were made by the previous owners. Judging by the height of the notches, they probably had a fridge pushed back in there. I think I have a way of attacking how I want it to look, but this wall also has the electrical panel on it and will be hit tomorrow. Depending on where lines are going to be pulled through, I may be hammering in this area just ahead of Thom working on the electric.
