Work after day one came grinding to a standstill. I don't have anywhere else to store the things that are in the barn, and I didn't want to stack torn down material outside where it was raining, so the result was a very crowded and stacked up work area. A construction dumpster was ordered, but it would be a few days before it was delivered. Meanwhile, I did tear down one corner and found this. At some point, the previous owners had a wood stove in the building. It appears that they came dangerously close to burning the place to the ground. Despite the charring, there is only one board that will need replacing. Otherwise, it appears that the area has maintained structural integrity.
