Due to our SUV breaking down near Silverton, we had to stay overnight in Silverton and the next morning we drove to Durango, Colorado. Some of the mountain peaks near Silverton had received snow overnight and the passing storm really presented some dramatic views. Silverton is really a fantastic place to visit if looking for rugged mountains and many incredible views.
