A Mountain Stream Near Silverton, Colorado

This is an image of late day sunlight on a stream above our campsite just outside of Silverton, Colorado. This was one of our coldest
nights camping with a low of close to 20 degrees. The next morning our rental SUV had a deadened leaking battery and we had to wait close to seven hours for a tow truck to arrive. Just another adventure along the way.

A lovely image with wonderful lighting! I guess the cell phone saved the day.

Some how the cold was evident when I first looked at the photo. I'll bet you were glad to get home...and your cell phone worked.

to engage the viewer on the parks highlights.

Your photography is always top notch. Lovely lighting, tones, and composition. A beautiful image. Well worth a cold night of camping. As for the dead battery & long wait in the wilderness for assistance, "been there; done that". As you said, after all is said & done, it's just part of the adventure and a story to tell. To use the cliché: all is well that ends well.
