The Historic Gibble House (1709)-Beaufort, NC

Beaufort is a short drive north of Emerald Isle and is a popular tourist attraction. Beaufort was established in 1709 and still has a large number of restored historic homes to view. This is the first of a couple I plan to add to this gallery. The aluminum roof on this historic house is a blend of the new and the old. The sign posted in front of the house adds additional historic interest.
