Shot just as the sun dropped below the backdrop of the arena, an interesting lighting situation with the jousters still in fading sunlight. This was a chance to shoot slower shutter speeds, around 1/500s, showing the speed of the action. Sometimes the full daylight images look as if the competitors are poised motionless. One jouster is always very blurred; the camera is tracking the other.
