Not a terribly compelling sky and composition, but wanted to illustrate what ND grads can do. Shot with Hi-Tech 0.6 soft and hard 85x110 grads in a Cokin single slot holder on a Nikkor 16-35/4 AFS lens and D700.

In retrospect I should have tried my 3 stop hard filter too, although I find it usually makes the upper sky way too dark. But most people using these seem to favor the stronger 3 stop grad (or even stronger by stacking).
