No noise reduction. This image was shot in Raw format about 1 stop under the metered value, which would have tried to make his black hair more like 18% grey. The exposure was further reduced by one stop in Nikon Capture. Incandescent white balance and normal sharpening applied in camera. Saved as downsized TID in NC and the signature applied in Photoshop CS and saved as JPG.

The D70 can do a fine job with high ISO sensitivity.
