Gimbal Height - A Case Study

A series of images illustrating why I think it is important to have what you otherwise might consider to be an unnecessarily tall tripod. With a gimbal, you almost cannot have too much height- you will use it some day. I'm 5'7" and I shoot a 64" tripod (G1410) for most of my gimbal work. It's just about right for me. If I went to a Series 3 I would probably get a GT3541XLS because the 57-59" models aren't quite tall enough for what I want. I wish the Series 5 came in an XLS version.
