A nice group of new moon images taken over an unusual string of 5 clear evenings. Especially this past year when it's been unusual to see two clear nights back to back.

We start with a landscape illustrating a 26 hour old moon actually setting on the horizon. Venus is included for a nice bonus. I have never seen this before and suspect it's rare. I'm happy to just catch a glimpse of such an early moon. We end with an occultation of a Pleiades star during the conjunction of that star cluster and the 5th day moon.
