I have been photographing Great Blue Herons for years, but this is the first time I have captured a fight sequence. I will be posting the sequence over the next few days. I realize that with all the fighting and strife in the world today folks might not have much of an appetite to see wildlife conflict like this. However, you need to keep this in mind. Unlike with human conflict, in Nature the fights are generally short lived, and neither participant gets critically injured. We can learn a lot from our fine, feathered friends about conflict resolution.
