Hummingbirds are one of my favorite wildlife subjects and I've photographed them a lot, meaning it is hard to come up with novel presentations. This time what I did was to use all of the pixels I paid for in my high resolution sensor to crop to an extreme close-up and leveraged the overlaping colors of the flowers to help to "paint" the subject. I also loved the closed eye expression. I have another attempt at this that I will post next.
