Whenever I want to get my creative gears turning I attach my macro lens to my camera and head to the Botanic Garden to try to create some abstracts from natural scenes. One of my favorite subjects is the Agave plant. It is fun to move around them and try to leverage the points, leaves, colors and light to make interesting abstract compositions.
