Live and learn I guess. I used to be really selective about sunset surfing sessions; waiting for just the right colorful skies. But I've been experimenting with heading to the beach under different lighting conditions, like here where the marine layer was moving in creating this deep, gray background with still some nice light for the waves. I kinda liked the result and just goes to show that there is really no bad light or sky.
