Agave are one of my favorite garden subjects. I just love the graceful curves of the large leaves as they open. Taken while on a walk through the San Diego Botanic Garden.

what an appealing arrangment of flowing shapes...the splayed petals seem to provide backdrop for a wondrous natural sulpture..
