A Reddish Egret

It's always fun to photograph a new species and this was the first time I've seen and photographed a Reddish Egret. It might not be the most colorful of bird subjects, but it is very animated when hunting and I'll post a couple of other shots to show you what I mean.

I've never even heard of reddish egrets, so this is exciting to see for that reason alone, not to mention the excellent in flight capture. ~BV~
