Getting Wet and Shooting II

Another shot of an in-the-water surf photographer at work. This high speed stop action capture shows the moment before surfer Taylor goes ripping over the top of him as the photographer submerges to avoid a collision. Even then he probably kept shooting to get the bottom of Taylors board overhead. Sometimes these guys wait until the very last second to leave their shooting position and that's how they get amazingly close action shots from the water.

Nice stop action shot and the surfer under the water appears to be a photographer bet he got a good shot under the water.

Fantastic! Your shot, and presumably theirs. Does anybody get hurt doing that?

Outstanding capture of what appears to be a dangerous moment for both surfer and photographer.

I'm always amazed at those up close, inside the curl shots that they get. I can see where it would be dangerous to one or both if everyone isn't paying close attention. Great shot, catch of this. V

Such a dramatic scene! Not sure I'd want to be the guy under the water.
