Getting Wet and Shooting

In-the-water surf photography isn't easy. No I'm not speaking from experience, I just know. You see I shoot from the beach and that isn't easy. I have to be quick and dodge in coming surf or I go home with wet shoes. They have to be quick and dodge in coming surf boards ridden by super shredders or they get their bell rung or worse. I have to sometimes hold my breath while shooting to steady the camera. They have to sometimes hold their breath while shooting to keep from drowning. Get the picture? Well I'm just glad we have some really brave and talented sharp shooters here who get wet while shooting and show us the up close and personal side of the sport from the water.

A spectacular image, Nick! It's almost un believable what some will go through to get "the shot!"
