Here in San Diego County we have a strong connection to our nation's military. We have the Marine Air Station Miramar (site of the original Top Gun), North Island Naval Base and training center for the Navy Seals on Coronado, and Camp Pendelton Marine Corps Base where this honor guard is from. It is neat to see them integrate with the community like this where the honor guard presented the colors to kick off the Wavecrest Woodie Festival in Encinitas.
