I enjoy creating abstract images from natural scenes. There is a stand of colorful bamboo in the San Diego Botanic Garden that is one of my favorite subjects for this type of image. In this case I used intentional camera movement down the bamboo, then turned the frame on its side to create these gorgeous bands of color.
