The Art of Growing Old

This is a new project I'm starting and to be honest I'm not exactly sure where I'm going with it- but I find the older I become the more fascinated I am by old things. In the case of flowers I think that sometimes the old blooms like this one have more interest and character than the fresh ones. The aging process brings a largely unpredictable randomness to their structure that I often find engaging and beautiful.

I agree the aging blooms are uniquely different from each other, unlike the blooms in their prime.
