Grom (short for Grommet) is a term used for a youngster who participates in extreme sports like surfing. I couldn't resist getting a shot of this Grom shredding the waves just like his older and bigger counterparts when the surf was up at Seaside Cardiff State Beach. I was standing next to a drone photographer when I took this and his quote was "That kid is cooler than I'll ever be.".
