Fault Lines

OK maybe it's because I live in earthquake-prone California, but when I saw this pattern in the bark of a Eucalyptus tree it reminded me of a map of earthquake faults helping to shape large continents. A close-up image was rotated 90 degrees and the colors and tones were adjusted to personal taste to create this abstract.
