St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance, Award Winners: Part 2 of 2 -- September 2013

This second of two galleries on the seventh annual St. Michaels Concours d'Elegance features the automobiles and car owners who won class and other awards. The 2013 event was held on Sept. 29 at a new and wonderful venue, the Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, Maryland. Entered were cars from the Golden Age of Motoring (1900-1942) and the postwar period (1948-1963), including wood bodied cars through 1953. There were 10 classes: Exhibition, Jaguar, Wood (Woodie), Sports Car Open, Sports Car Closed, Brass, Preservation, Packard, Prewar European and Prewar American.

Funds raised by the event were for the benefit of the Mid-Shore Community Foundation, which supports nonprofit organizations in the counties of Kent, Queen Anne, Caroline, Talbot and Dorchester. For more information, visit the concours's Web site at http://www.smcde.org/ .

For the second year in a row, Colorado photographer, PBase artist and good friend Dan Greenberg joined me at the concours. He came to Maryland primarily for the 2nd Rodder's Journal Vintage Speed & Custom Car Revival, which was held in Baltimore Sept. 27-29.
