Reminded me of a turtle's head
emerging from murkey water.

The turtle-esque head is towards the bottom, where the lines get a little darker. I didn't intned to, but that was just the first thing that poped in my head when took a look at it after i was done. (turtles aren't amphibians, they're reptiles)
