A bit of a chilly grey day outside,
here Aiden makes his move,
as Grandpa makes a fatal mistake.

I love the lighting on this. All too often I try to fill in some and this is a good example of keeping your nose out of it!

Perfect inside/outside harmony....
The semi obscurity inside heightens the feeling of intimacy.
Wonderful contrasts.
A great candid scene superbly composed.

That is so wonderful to see the younger generation and the older generation play a game. Very nice photographed. I love this a lot.

I think that glass of wine was the fatal mistake! Nice feeling to this one.

Great image.
The lighting is stunning.
I remember being taken as a kid and playing draughts with mine.

Wonderful shot. Grandpa's just letting the kid win to boost his confidence.

Wonderful shot. I never knew a grandfather as both of mine died decades before I was born. But, I do have photos and histories of them which I cherish just as your son will cherish this photo.
