Here is the context for the making of the photographs in this series. Notice the varigation of forested shadow reflection, along with the deep sky blues, and the Grebe nest in shallow water approx 40' from shore. Nearly all photos have been made with the 500mm lens, w/wo 1.4 and 2x tele-converters. The 1DsMkIII or 1D Mark 4 bodies were used, often in low light conditions of dawn and dusk.
