Delight in Dowitchers

This gallery features Dowitchers and was began in late September 2010, and continues into October in the delta marshes of British Colombia, Canada. I am drawn to qualities of light, color tonalities, and water reflections of these beautiful shore birds with their long straight bills, and distinct pale eyebrows.
