We found a flock of a half dozen Black Rosy-finches near the highest point in Beartooth Pass. The birds were foraging on the ground and along the edge of the road. An individual would occassionally fly 100 feet or so then land and resume foraging, but the group remained pretty much together in an area of a few hundred square feet.
