Me and Mom, many years ago. I lost my dear mother on Monday, May 17th, after a long illness. She was 85. We all miss her so very much. She was the foundation of her family and was greatly loved by all of us.

Nora, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. What a gift she gave you-life, love, family; there are no greater gifts. When our mothers leave us, we have the wonderful invitation that they leave us, and the beautiful opportunity of stepping in and filling the whole they leave and continuing the legacy they left-gathering our family together and remembering what a wonderful gift this life and love is.
