My mother's illness and hospitalization has kept me away from PBase for a while, but I hope to return soon and catch up with my comments.

My family received the best present we could have wished for when we learned that my mother's abdominal mass, was not ovarian cancer, as previously

diagnosed, but a large benign cyst. We received this news on Christmas eve, immdeiately following her surgery. It's events like these that put

things into their proper perspective. Although she remains hospitalized with other health issues, We are hopeful that she will be returning home soon.
