Blake is running out (maybe a little) the penji on P2. See that happy blue
stopper in the lower left of the frame? Yes, a fantastic placement - could hold
a family of 6 - if only it stayed in the rock. I think
when I told Blake to look back his legs started shaking; his 15 foot runnout
turning into 20; me wondering even more about my anchor. I couldn't help but
to laugh at the situation (shouldn't have - Blake got his
retribution). Anyhow, Blake did a great job of keeping it together
on this little bit. He worked his hands on the roundish holds (the feet were
covered in lichen). Another little plus about this route and area is the
fantastic exposure. You look back and can see all of Fish
Lake and the surrounding forest. Scared the crap out of me, though!
