A competitive cruise around the waters of Narragansett Bay or/and Rhode Island Sound.

Will be sailing with and guests of the Twenty Hundred Club fleet for the Prince Henry. This a fun cruise where navigation and awareness of tidal currents are particularly important.


SATURDAY

0900 hrs - all boats will START SAILING off any of . . .

WICKFORD - EAST GREENWICH - BARRINGTON - BRISTOL - NEWPORT

OBJECTIVE : sail the longest distance within the specified time limit ! Boats will receive suitable handicaps when the results are being calculated.

Engines can be used but not more than 30 minutes between starting and finishing.

1530 hrs boats will FINISH SAILING off Wickford


1700 hrs - SHORE PARTY at Wickford YC


FOR NONSUCH CREWS ONLY :

SPECIAL BONUSES to every boat for each crew member 15 years old or younger who steers at least 15 minutes total while sailing . . . supervised or unsupervised! Kids, grandkids, junior club kids, or borrowed kids ALL count. Shanghaiing strictly frowned upon and will be reported ! In case of a tie, birth certificates may be required.

SPECIAL BONUSES to every boat that catches a fish while sailing. VERIFIED weights of fish will be used to break a tie. Any fish presented frozen will arose suspicion and be subject to a ruling regarding eligibility.

PENALTY to every boat not steered by a woman at least 25% of the time while sailing. Boats must provide their own women !
