33 Gallery

The 33 was the last of these amazing designs from the late '70s to the late '80s. Thought by many to be the best all around performer in a family of great sailing boats, a 33 won at Antigua Race Week soon after her introduction with Jimmy Eastland (of Eastland Yachts fame in Essex CT) sailing the boat! 33s have also won class and done very well in fleet in the Marblehead-Halifax, the Marion-Bermuda, and not a few other major and local sailing events.

67 were built by Hinterhoeller Yachts in the late 1980's and early 1990's.


Under agreement with Mark Ellis Design http://www.markellisdesign.ca/ , Wiggers Yachts has built a small number of these boats in recent years http://www.wiggerscustomyachts.com/
