I am returning from the Stuart range. The flight path takes me past Glacier Peak,
at first on the south, then to the west. Late evening alpenglow washes the upper mountain.
It is very cold, -12 deg C at 10,000', and a strong wind blows out of the SW; spindrift rushes over the summit snow.
I have time for a few photographs before the sun sets, then a turn to the northwest and a run for home.
