那須 峰の茶屋跡「牛守護大日尊」の碑で昭和2年建立です
作製された時からこのような形になっていたのだと思います
戦前に硫黄鉱山があり、燃料の木材などを運搬するのに牛を使いこの峠を通りました
ひんぱんに強風の吹く難所で、事故もあったのでしょう
