I like the placement of your foreground tree tho... the color washout does help pop out the foreground tree too. Nicely done!

I think its cause the snow is reflecting too much light back... just my guess though

Oh, how beautiful. The falling snow is concealing the color of the trees. Would like to walk in that snow.

I love how the snow absorbs color and sound. We get snow so rarely, but when we do, I love waking up to the stillness! You do a wonderful job of capturing this in so many of your photos!
