This is a VERY faint supernova remnant that is a very difficult and rarely imaged target located in the constellation of Auriga. The distance of the structure is estimated at 14,700 light years from the solar system with an estimated age of between 13,000 and 24,000 years. The surface brightness of this object is extremely low and it was barely visible on the individual subframes.

16 x 30 minute subs in Ha, seeing conditions full moon, moderate transparency
flats, darks and bias frames applied

This is a false colour image with a starless version of the Ha image mapped to the red channel and the original Ha image used for luminescence
