just a reminder that spring is less than two months away!

THE BIRTH OF SPRING

Even on a dull overcast day
Spring won’t hold back.
She won’t tell trees to stop what they’re doing,
to halt their extravaganza of tiny firework blossoms
and lime green leaves
ignited by that spark of life called warmth.

In case we have forgotten or no longer care,
Spring won’t hold back from her reminder
to re-live that season of our own,
a season of sharing our tiny firework blossoms
and lime green leaves.
